    Did you buy a HP one?

    I had an Avermedia DVB-T one before. I'm not sure how much it costs, it was given to me, but it did everything you expect a TV tuner to do. Any TV tuner will fit into your laptop, if its an express card slot.

    no, but just like with their wireless cards, they probably do some crap that makes them un-usable in non-hp laptops.

    I bought something Avermedia.
