    turbo always on bad or fine? Also how can i check cpu temp?

    two quick questions regarindg my GX620 001us

    1) is it bad to always have the turbo on when plugged in?

    2) how can i check my cpu temp?

    You can check your CPU and GPU temperatures with HWMonitor.

    Running in turbo mode is essentially running an overclock all the time. Desktops do it all the time. You can do it, and most likely get away with it. Personally, given the heat transfer characteristics of the interior of the computer, I would probably run it only during gaming or the like. I'm pretty happy with the performance of my ms-1651 as is anyway.

    As the poster above said, HWMonitor to log temps.

    i see my cpu(s) are running @ 26c/78f while idling, is this normal, it seems high.

    also my HD is at 93F.

    That seems pretty cool to me. My laptop is running at 35*C for the CPU, 58*C for the GPU and 46*C for the HD. All of this will be hardware dependent ofcourse. I'm running a T7500 in mine. According to the second link bellow, my processor doesn't display the proper temperature.
