I'm thinking of purchasing a MSI MS-1222 (PR210) barebones on ebay and using the core 2 duo and memory out of my defunct Dell XPS m1210. I just bought a larger MSI GX710-230A laptop to fill in after the Dell died and I'm worried that this one may have the same crippled touchpad that the GX-710 suffers from. I'm purchasing this laptop specifically for writing and I need a touchpad with an actual driver where I can disable the tapping and customize it so I can use it for writing. The touchpad on the GTX710 has no driver and using the Microsoft driver can only be configured as a mouse. Does anybody know if the touchpad on the MS-1222 has a driver that can be configured?
