    Hi All,

In process of re-pasting my GT70 PE with ICD, I'm guessing the thermal pad material for RAM and VRMs is pretty lousy as well. Anyone know what thickness I need to get to replace the pads with some decent material? Is it 0.5, 1, or 1.5mm?

    Thanks

If you are confident in your abilities then replace all the pads with 0.5mm 5w/mk or better.

The pad thickness is more important than quality since it does not impact temps or stability having higher rated pads even if overclocking.
