I just got an MSI gaming laptop from Fry's. I think it's the GS60 6QD. When I drag windows around the screen, I see this gray overlay box, and if I accidentally drop the window with the mouse inside that box, it snaps into some location. Or it subdivides the box and then snaps into an even smaller location. This is driving me crazy as the damn box is hard to avoid. There are numerous subdivisions within the box now and they get smaller every time I accidentally drop the mouse pointer into it.

I searched the web for answers, and noticed that someone had a screenshot from a Dell Computer that looked identical. This person was advised by other posters to turn off Windows Snap Assist or related functions, but that didn't work. Turned out it was some Dell-specific utility.

That doesn't help me with an MSI laptop. There must a program doing something similar by another name. Anyone know what it is?

EDIT: I bought this based on the feel and look of the screen and the specs while I was at Fry's, but I actually don't know much else about the quality, reputation, etc.. The box says GS60 6QD (Ghost). It's like that, with "Ghost" in parentheses. I'm trying to find reviews for this model but can't seem to find this exact name. Can someone point me to a review of this model or a nearly identical model?
