Hi,
At the starting, I had a problem with my audio port. It was loose, so I had to open (disassemble) the laptop to adjust the pins. After assembling the laptop, I noticed that the touchscreen panel was not working. I thought that I inserted the touchscreen wires in the opposite direction, so I disassembled the touchscreen panel while the laptop was switched on and removed the touchscreen panel wires. At the moment I removed the wires, my laptop switched off.
And now the laptop does not work. Nothing works in it. When I place the battery (or the power supply) I see a very dim red light in the battery indicator led ( the one at the corner of the laptop where it shows bright yellow light while the laptop is charging). The light is very dim, so you can only see it clearly when you swiched off the lights.
When clicking the power button, nothing works. Neither the fan nor the lcd works. The only light that show is the dim battery indicator light.![]()
I took it to the best computer repair shop that I know. He told me that the motherboard is dead. Out of curiosity, I told him that if I bring him a motherboard, will he assemble it? He told me he will not do that. So I am not even sure that the problem is from the motherboard. I am not sure that the guy at the repair shop knows what he is talking about.
I don't know what to do now. I need some suggestions and help from you folks.
(sorry for my bad english)

moral hazard Notebook Nobel Laureate
I would first try disconnecting the CMOS battery and leaving it disconnected for a while.
If that doesn't work, I would try replacing the touch panel with a new one.
If that still didn't fix the problem, I would take the notebook apart and look for any problems with the motherboard (just look over it for anything obvious).
If you then can find a cheap motherboard on ebay, might be worth buying.
Else, sell the parts that you think still work. You could get $250 for the GPU on ebay.
The bezel around the screen cracks frequently, people want that. Also the heatsink is something you could get $40 for. The CPU, RAM, HDD, screen and other parts would be easy to sell. -
I checked the CMOS battery solution but it did not work. So I took my laptop to another repair shop and he repaired it. But there are few problems. The touch sensor panel is not working. He says that the panel is creating the problem so he disconnected it.
I actually don't use the touch panel except for switching on the wifi and bluetooth. So now I can't figure out how to enable the wifi.
Is there a way to enable it without changing the touchpanel?
And where can I get a touch panel (if it is the only way to make the wifi work) ? I searched ebay and google, but could not find anything.
Thanks for the help -
Any suggestions?

The sensor board is what causing the problem? or the cable.
If you need the sensor board/panel I have a spare if you need it PM me.
Also are you in the U.S -
Maybe RK computers has it? I got an extra 9-cell batter from them separatly. They seem to have a lot of spare parts for sale.
I think you should look more to replace your touch screen.
removed the touchscreen panel wires while my gt627 was running... and now the laptop does not switch on..... I need your help
