    pe60 6qe ec firmware update & battery problem

    hi
    i downloaded the last ec firmware available for my laptop
    16J5EMS2.108
    my current ec firmware version is 16J5EMS1.101
    but when i want to update it this error appears :

    msi support said :
    It will be normal that [EMS1] - 16J5EMS1.101 can’t upgrade with [EMS2] 16J5EMS2.108 because the firmware protection

    so if it cant upgrade , why they upload new version on site?

    also another problem
    my laptop consumes battery about 5-6% every 24h when it is shut down
    i also disabled fastboot on win10 and bios no change
    msi support said its normal. but is it really normal?

    are you bout your laptop from matris ? ;)
    I think they changed they're prestige laptop firmware by gaming series.
    because of that u can't update.
    never try to update just call them and ask them.
    furthermore I have issue that I can see my serial number from MSI help desk, do u have the same problem? that reveal FFFFFFFFF !!!!
    I musk ask them why? my be it's because of ec version mismatch !!?!?!

    He had incorrect version because you can't cross flash different version number.
    16J5EMS1.101 vs 16J5EMS2.108
    He needs to flash firmware based on the series of same filename, like 16J5EMS1.101 -> 16J5EMS1.102, or 16J5EMS2.108 -> 16J5EMS2.109.

    u can update by framework of this laptop:
    GE62 6QD APCHE PRO
    I tried it, and that worked on my PE60 6QE
