    hey guys i was wondering if i want to update my video card do i need to download it from msi website or from ati site

    99% of the time it's better to get updates from the chipset maker rather than from the system integrator.

    Slow down, read the forum for a couple of days/weeks, then attempt to update the vBIOS. Otherwise there's a big chance that You will brick Your brand new laptop.

    In the past, I would have agreed. Today, though, companies are paying more attention to mobile computing. With NVIDIA finally in the game, you can get good-quality reference drivers for pretty much any part in a notebook.
