    msi gx620 001 bios/firmware flash help

    i'm having trouble flashing my firmware and bios for my gx620

    i have the bootable usb connected but when i go to bios and set boot devices/priority, there is no usb option


    is there something i can do to force it to boot from usb or
    is there any way for me to flash firmware and bios w/o the usb?

    how did you make it bootable. if not done right sometimes it will not see it. see my sig for a guide

    that's actually the process i went through and used to make my usb bootable

    what bios are you running?

    do you see the message under the msi logo at boot up that says press f11 (i think) for boot menu? if so hit f11 and you will get a blue box pick the usb stick.

    if this is not there id double check to see what bios you already have...

    nvm i got it figured out

    i had to switch the drive listing to go usb then hdd
    also f11 worked, i just never noticed that option there...

    nvm, got it all figured out, thanks everybody
