    hello .. how are things ..

    i own a msi GT83 VR .. it has two hard drive .. one is SSD 250GB the second HDD 1TB .. i wanted to change the later to ssd or bigger HDD ... that's thing angered my current HDD so it committed suicide so now i have to replace it ... what is the maximum dimensions for HDD or SSD for this laptop .. since bigger capacity means bigger size ( i found 5 TB 2.5 inches ..some say its big .. ) is you can see in the link below ..

    Most laptops can take a maximum of 9.5mm which means the HDD in the link that you posted can go up to a maximum of 2TB. The 3TB and 5TB ones are 15mm high and may not fit.

    Someone with an MSI GT83VR can confirm this for you though.
