Run memtest first to determine if there's any faulty memory or not.
Use BlueScreen Dump viewer to check if what had caused the crash.
Sometimes this could have been caused by incorrect drivers.

You should be able to enter the bios if you hold the del key.

If you have another PC at home then try download Partition Wizard minitool for USB:

Boot partition manager from USB Flash disk directly to manage disk partition - Partition Wizard Bootable Flash Drive.

Once the USB drive is created, take it to your GT780 and:

1: Press F11 too choose to boot from USB

2: Right click system reserve partition > modify > and choose hide

3: Right click your Windows partition > modify > and set to Active

4: Highlight Disk 0 or Disk 1 depends on which drive is your primary drive

5: Click the menu > rebuilt MBR

    6: Click Apply

7: exit and start to boot from your GT780

P.S: Here is the video of easy way to enter BIOS:

so i sent it and they said the problem was caused by the hdd having different os as one had win 7 and other had win 8. but i cant see how this would suddenly stop the laptop working even couldnt get to bios. completly. anyway they said it was a software issue and it isnt under warranty therfore i would have to pay £70. i tried to argue with the guy on phone but he had zero knowledge on anything to do with computers.

Windows 7 and 8 should be dual bootable and it should not cause an issue.

They may have just formatted the HDD and restored it to factory and got it working again and that was pointing to a software issue which regardless of reason would not be covered under warranty.

Don't know exactly what cause it by could be the one of the OS installation messed up the Windows boot manager, at least the error message says that and yes, it is software problem not hardware related.
