    So, I've been using a mouse from the beginning so I just noticed this now. Why can't I do the double touch action to scroll down?

    This one uses Synaptics, which uses single touch side scrolling.
    You can also go into its configuration menu to check settings and available customization.

    where do i find this? i can't see any synaptics program.

    There is usually a touchpad icon in your task tray or it's in the Mouse Properties, found in Control Panel. If it's not, you'll need to download the driver from MSI's website. Then you'll be able to see all of the features it supports (and doesn't).

    Yes, I would go through the gestures once installed and disable any you don't want.
