    msi ex700 recovery dvd for xp

    Hi I think I need some steps filled in ...

    I have vista installed on my mega book it came with vista eng. french. xp cd/dvd recoveries and I booted from dvd "xp recovery"
    and it ask to goto the A: theres no A: but I insert a thumb drive and it takes the recovery with out prompting the (A: GHOSTTERR.TXT) error .
    It reboots, shows a little xp icon flash on the screen. Then ... it says no destination.... after a long wait .....reboots to vista fine, But I want xp thats why I bought it!
    Well I'll try it again maybe I should remove the thumb on 2nd reboot .

    I got MSI EX700 too, and i can`t find a SATA driver for XP. Please help

    The sata driver is on intel's website, or just disable AHCI mode in the bios.
