Ive came across a shop close.by my city and they sell a.refurbish dragon 2 full equiped ssd x 3 blu ray burner but with 4700 processor and I was wondering if this laptop is good... They sell it at 1899 also which i think.is a good.price since theybl offer 15 months warranty... (780m)

But ive read some reviews and im worried about heat issue.. Also will the 4700 bottleneck my gpu..

Else I have another option with a sager 9370 with sli 680m and 3940xm cpu for 2.1k but i had trouble with my last sager 7970m crossfire with all kind of bsod and drivers problems..

Im a little confused.. Need insight

7970m crossfire was never stable, so not necessarily Sager's fault.
If you are just gaming a 4700mq won't bottleneck the gaming performance.

That is a great price for the Dragon 2, if its brand new and includes the GTX 780M as its supposed to it would be hard to pass that up.

The 7970M did have some driver issues for a while but they seem to be all cleared up now. It was more of an Enduro issue and under utilization.

If you compare benchmark scores 2x 680M is about 30% better then 1x 780M. If you're after the best gaming performance you can get the 2x 680M will obviously be the better choice. Plus the 3940XM will definately out perform the 4700MQ.

Dragon 2 is refurbished with 15 months warranty

Clevo is new unit.. But i fear about being able to upgrade gpu later.. Since its a kind of old motherboard

Dont bet on upgrading the GPU on the Sager as it already wont support the 7XXM series. But also dont plan on upgrading the MSI GPU either as they usually dont support it either. Plus once you look into the prices of the top GPU's they are pretty costly for notebooks, not to mention much harder to find compared to desktops.

I'd get the one that you think will last you the longest without considering a GPU or CPU upgrade.

So from a gamer point of view, 680m sli would last better then single 780m? Considering im playing mostly MMORPG.. in those Game I dont know if the sli support is worth it... Both units are around same price since the dragon is 1899+ Taxes and Sager is 2.1 but tax free...

Yes the 2X680M would be better for gamers. However most MMO's dont require the top end GPU's, they do that so people with lower systems can still play. Either GPU will run most MMO's at top settings at 60+FPS. Many MMO's also ask more from the CPU which the Sager's is going to be a bit better.

If you plan on moving around alot the MSI is going to be lower weight thus more portable. The 3x mSATA in SuperRAID 2 in the MSI is also really nice but wont make any difference in game play.

And also I have a cheaper option with an Alienware 17
    Full HD
    4700 i7
1.5 TB with 64 GB SSD
    770m GTX
    16gb Ram

    1499.99

Between these 3 what would be bang for the buck.... and could retain more value

They all seem pretty same in bang for you buck, nothing really sticking out. Really comes down to you now. Something to consider, the stronger the notebook you get now the longer it will last you before you feel like its time to replace it.

The basic pasting job was bad on a review unit, the base job should be ok but the best results for cool operation come from a user done job with thin (0.5mm) thermal pads.

You can also compare to other temp reports on any MSI GT70 2OD model as they all share the same cooling system. Over heating isn't a common issue.
