    msi GT780R BLU RAY DRIVE?

    Hi all, just bought the above recieved it today it as a blu ray drive went to test a blu ray and windows media player says it isnt supported cant find how to play one help please...also how do i switch from nividia gtx560m to the i7 chip....on my last laptop it was right click and easy switch that was ATI 5650 sorry a newbie ;(

    You need bluray playback software...... You know like you needed DVD playback software in XP.

    Hi meaker,shouldnt blu ray software be on it if it as a blu ray drive? sounds silly if it isnt? if not is there a free software available.thank you

    That's the way its always been. However, I hear good things about DAPlayer. It says it plays Commercial BluRays (for free). I havent tried it myself but I certainly will after my new system arrives in a few days! You can download it here.. http://www.digiarty.com :)

    Check some of the other MSI models on they're website, you'll find the Corel Windvd software that comes with some of the models (gt685 has it). Plays blu-rays with no issues.
