    does anyone know where to get some tips that'll fit a 4 pin din and be compatible with a gx640?

    You could look up Targus Web page and try to order from there, or ebay. Unless the 4-pin din is different than those "manufactured" by Targus. BTW, I have a spare 4-din/5.5x2.5mm Targus tip.
