    Hi,
a 3dmark06 score would be nice.
And some frames/sec in games like FEAR, Quake4.

How's the overall built and weight. Does it have a subwoofer?
    Post your specs too please.

    Ok, thnx :)

    hey :)

questions as above + few more if you dont mind :)
    1) how is the overal construction quality, keyboard, chassis, etc...
    2) what are real dimensions? i mean, on official site, those dimensions would fit 15,4" notebook, so i dont think its real for this one...
    3) how is the quality of the screen? colors, brightness, contrast, etc...

    thx for answers :)

    above +

    4) how's heating after some demanding gaming? if put on your lap does it heats much more? (if you can compare half an hour gaming with half an hour lap-top gaming would be best :)

    5) Is it noisy?

I'm really up to buying this laptop so some real opinion would be much appreciated

btw, I also noticed the dimesion thingy - can you really measure it?

    thanks for the answers :)

so where are the answers? :)) I'm thinking of getting this one, are the new CLEVO (XXODD) or the HP9595. As DELL is keeping me waiting on the 1720 I will probably cancel as the MSI and CLEVO which are released after I ordered the DELL have better specs like included TVtuner, 7200rpm discs etc

Want to know if the sound quality of the MSI is good compared to CLEVO barebones.

Is this MSI a ASMobile barebone? It looks like the follow up of the ASUS Z84 barebone

Sorry I was on vacation so. The display is brilliant I really like it the colors and visibilty is really good. The qualiti of case and keybord is good too. Maybe the numpad is a little bit hard. The sound is only from fans but if seriously gaming and not too bad less than an classic cpu cooler in desktop(some better). The only what I dont like on i it is that it can bee really but really hot on right side where is the gpu and cpu after 1-2 hours of playing test drive unlimited it started to bee unconfortable to put my hand on it but if using on nb cooler pad its much better. ok next questions???

    Is the 8600 a DDR2 or GDDR3? The 610 and 710 comes with a GDDR3 HD2600

If it's the "extreme" model, I'd like to see pics (the ones with flammes)

JUst saw in the other topic

    It's DDR2 800.

    If Rivaturner shows DDR3 800, it's DDR2.

There is NO link between DDR3 and GDDR3. In fact, GDDR3 is an echanced version of DDR2 (needs less power, lower latency and can be clocked way higher)

I plan to order a GX600 or GX700 however I want to use it to play HDDVD (Xbox HD drive) and I need HDCP (otherwise PowerDVD wil not pay HDDVD titles

    http://www.cyberlink.com/english/support/bdhd_support/diagnosis.jsp

could you try BD/HD advisor free utilty to check if the MSI GX 8600GT is HDCP enabled?

Could be interesting info for many people.

GDDR3 and DDR3 are exactly the same. G in front means only graphic or something...
And if it works on 800MHz it should be GDDR3 because its being multiplied by a factor of 2.
GDDR2 runs on 400MHz on a video card, i suppose.
The guy with acer 5920G could tell us his VRAM speed, cuzz his acer has GDDR2 for sure.
