    i can take out my ssd from my old screwed gx60, put it in the used gx60 that i have bought and it will boot straight up??

    Most likely, if motherboard and other specs are the same.
    Also, damn, that signature is a blast from the past. I miss my Q9550. Are you still using that?

    They are going on eBay for about 300 quid.

    My gx60 needs a new m board, chassis and hinges which comes to about the same

    And no lol I binned the q9550 for the gx60

    Yes, since it's the same hardware it will go straight to boot.
    Also, make sure your BIOS settings are reconfigured to your needs.
