    hello,

I'm trying to upgrade the bios on my GT60 ONE that has Windows 8 and SSD drive (no raid). I'm following MSI's instructions of placing the EFI boot folder in a FAT32 USB drive (in the correct structure as instructed in the guide) but when i boot into this USB drive i get the message "could not fine OS to boot, press any button to continue"
Note: in the guide is says to disable "secure boot" i do not have this option in the bios of my laptop under security.

    Please help :(

Are you able to revert from UEFI to BIOS? I think the secure boot option is sometimes left out unless you can disable the UEFI.

never mind i fixed it. Actually i need to enable UEFI boot mood in the bios first, this is a step missing in the guide. Your comment made me realize this. Thanks :)

UEFI booting is faster, it's a stream lined booting process that get's you in faster. Just be aware that you can't access the bios and have to restart the machine to get into it if you need to change anything.
