hi guys, anyone help me out please. ive just got this laptop for 2weeks and this problem keeps appearing.

for the first few times it happend i tried shutting down, take out battery, plug in adapter, on and let it boot os, shut down take out adapter, put battery back in and adapter, boot into os.

that worked but now it doesnt anymore. tried taking out battery adapter, press power button for 30secs and put back in doesnt work.
deleting some battery stuff in device manager and installing it back didnt work too.

it just stucks there at 96% plugged in not charging. when i plug out the adapter it doesnt shut down. battery doesnt drain when adapter is plugged in just stays at 96%.

help please its been like that for a few days

haha, you should've asked before you went through all that trouble.

The battery won't charge if you've just plugged in and already have 90%+ of battery left. It's designed that way in the MSI BIOS to help reduce the number of recharge cycle (or at least I'm pretty sure thats why).

    Your battery is fine.
