I just installed a new hard drive and installed Windows 7, 64 bit home premium. I get the following errors:
Mass Storage Controller
Location: PCI bus 1, device 4, function 3
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
Unknown Device
Location: on Intel(R) ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28
Is there a way to get 64 bit drivers for these? I see others have had problems with this, but have not been able to find a solution.![]()

Install the o2 driver. 32bit drivers will install and run fine on a 64bit system.
Some driver folders on msi do has 64bit , just need to explore em ..

Thanks, this resolved the Mass Storage Controller issue. Do you have any ideas on the other issue?

So, I put this on a flash drive and tried to follow the directions, but did not change anything. Not sure im doing it correctly though. Said it updated then when I went back in after reboot. Same error there. What exactly is the
Intel(R) ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919 and do I even need to worry about this?
I did install the SCM driver from the site and now my turbo and eco work great. -
Probably manages the USB port or peripherals ..
Ok here we go , it should be the CIR driver or The WIFI.
One of these should get rid of that exclamation markpretty sure it's the CIR
CIR http://eu.msi.com/index.php?func=nbdriverfile&driver_no=178
As for the wifi card , there's 2 .. get the one relevant to your card.

Yeah without SCM turbo won't work
EDIT : it won't harm ur pc if you don't update it ... been running my dell for ages with lots of exclamation marks as it's a pain to get the right drivers. -
It was the CIR!!!! Thanks for the quick replies. All seems to be working now!!!
