    I everyone!

I come here because i'm needing some help... I already tried to get that on the nvidia's forum however, i'm no sure it's efficient!
    So, here's the situation:

-My gpu wont works without fps fall.
-I had to mode my own Nvidia drivers (inf file doesn't match with my gpu id). If i didn't make a such things i couldn't even use the gtx 780m.

However, now that the drivers has been successfully installed i can't play without fps fall because of my gpu usage.
you could find a screen capture of the problem there:

All my drivers are up to date, my w7 pro x64 is a legal version and i tried on w8 pro x64 it's also the same problem...

What have i to do? :embarassed: . I get my laptop a week ago and i can't play...

    Thank's for all

Define "fps fall" Never heard of that term. Explain what is happening.

WIN 7? Huh? Got the notebook a week ago? Which GT70 model do you own specifically? Even with the first run MSI production 780M driver, you should not be having issues. Is this an older GT70, and you upgraded the GPU to a 780M? I suggest getting with the seller ASAP.

We definitely need more info here.

    :)

Make sure you have your battery installed too, that issue seems to be utilization problem, because clocks remain fairly consistent but GPU load % is varying a lot. Maybe the drivers are not working out for you.

With afterburner on or evga precision-x mine will do the same thing. With those programs off I have no issue. Its only doing that yoyo thing because those programs make the gpus bounce between intel and nvidia.

I have none of that with Afterburner 231 at all and use it constantly to monitor everything. People have had issues though with newer versions of Afterburner. So in this case newer is not always better. Also do not run FRAPs and afterburner at the same time that can cause some issues i have found and not that you need it anyhow but just a word of warning.

I myself can't run Afterburner with some games, as it crashes, so I just set up the needed speeds and I monitor with GPU Z, HWMonitor etc and log it.

Interesting. Have you tried 231 or is it all versions ? Also do you have any other monitoring software that runs at boot that might be making it crash ? I have tested more games then I'd care to even mention and never had that problem until I even installed Fraps. That is when things went south but the moment I removed Fraps all was well again.

And I think that is because Fraps wants to run on the igp but I didn't bother to troubleshoot it since I can monitor fps or take screenshots with afterburner the same way.

Yeah I actually use 2.3.1 as my current version. The issue I have is with games like Alan Wake. If I have Afterburner open before I open the game, when the game starts, I get a black screen and the game never really loads. IF, however, I start afterburner after the game is already running, I can run it in the background no problem.

    Weird huh?
