    gt683dxr brightness controll doesnt work after sleep mode

    after exiting sleep mode the brightness control doesnt seem to work. i have latest firmware and bios and it has not worked on this ones and neither in previous versions.

    any one else have a fix??

    Not sure if this will work for you, but this can sometimes be an issue with your power management option.

    Go into system settings and set Windows lid closing options to "Do Nothing". Then close the lid and open it up again.

    It is not an issue with the laptop. My Dell and Lenovo have done this, I was not surprised to see my 16F2 do it too.

    Is it every time or random? On all of my machines it is pretty rare that it happens, I just reboot and its good for a couple more weeks.
