    gt628 wont charge

    hi i have an MSI GT628 (well custom built of frostycomptours) ,yesterday i noticed that the laptop wont charge . it will turn on when the power cable is in it but it wont turn on when it is supossed to run off the battrey .when i plug the power cable in the battery light go's blue and after afew hours starts flashing an orange/red colour.I dont know what is causing this problem and hope you can help .

    Is it possible you have yourself a dead battery?

    Try a basic bios reset, take the battery and power cord out, hold the power button for 30 seconds to a minute, and try put the battery back in, see if anything happens (Run of battery/Plug) try get some status updates with hwmonitor.

    cheers , tryed resetting cmos , did not work . hwmonitor states that the battey is ) 0%full . must be dead so :( .

    Yeah, some wicky doohaa short or the cells just flopped :( You still within warrenty, you could try to get a replacement sent out?
