    does 3610qm support ddr3 1866?

    hello
    im going to upgrade the memory for my 1762 barebone, as the datasheet of intel says, the 3610qm can support ddr3 1333/1600, but also i read some topics in some forums says that 3610 can support ddr3 1866 while intel says it can't, just like 2630 can support ddr3 1600 while intel says it can't
    so now i have no idea about this
    anyone can give me an answer please?

    Intel doesn't recommend it... but it supports it w/o doubt ;)

    My corsair vengeance runs at 1900 MHz right now. So don`t be affraid. Probably better memory modules can do much more even over 2000 MHz.

    Unless you're gaming on integrated graphics, benchmarking, or overclocking, memory speed won't give you a significant performance boost for the cost.
