The reason i think its fake is because there is no branding, no windows key no serial. i should have checked before but had no idea people would be selling counterfeit msi's.

    is this worth anything?

    17.3" antiglare
    128gb ssd/750gb hd
    gtx 675mx 2gbgddr5
    16gb ram
    cd rom etc

No branding could be legit since MSI does sell barebones to resellers. But the keyboard looks like it's installed backwards from your pictures???

its my macbook camera, ignore the keyboard lol

i just attached the touchpad -- it doesn't even look like the real mdi touchpad (mine is sliver) man I'm pissed.

anyone know if i can at least check if the components are real or fake>

also, i do have the bigfoot boot menu option -- i was told this is only found in msi motherboard..

Probably you got a barebones as rhutor said, just check that you got the components you were supposed to get.

Edit: sorry, got distracted between typing my reply and posting , I see you got your answer already.

Yup, that is the barebone product.
Can you check the BIOS and EC versions in the BIOS under System Information?

    i can't even enter bios...

i tried to hit "del" but to no avail, the only thing i can do is hit shift +f10 or f11 and it takes me to the big foot boot menu.

Try hitting F2 repeatedly after you push the power button.

Was it sold to you as "MSI" or by anohter name.. As others have mentioned they also sell barebones so places can build their own. But they should not be labeled as MSI, for example we call ours "Force".

What system spec do you have?
Can you disconnect the drives first?
