It's a cool looking system, we've had those pics and article up here before, but it's always good to see, and welcome to the board.
MSI will have the dual-core Intel 12" (due next week) and the 12" dual Turion X2 will be awesome. I am asking MSI, however, that they do something to diffrentiate the current laptop chassis from the 1012/1013 models, not just with a different color lid, but a different body, too. -
Cofee do you think that the dual turion will have better colors, i kinda don´t like the orange one....

I hope MSI comes out with a bigger screen. I love MSI more than HP in every way (except price). They always gave fair treatment among all of their laptops (none of the X200M for AMD, 7400GO for Intel junk that HP is doing). It's just HP is more affordable with more specs, except for the afformentioned graphics thing. What I'd like in a Turion X2 Notebook from MSI:
17" WSXGA+ Display (glosssy)
Number Pad
Optional TV Tuner
Dual Hard Drive
5+ USB ports
ATi X1600
Track Point + Touch Pad (never really liked touch pads)
As light as possible
Good keyboard
Subwoofer
$1600 or less (reasonable config)
Bluetooth
Anything that was good on the MS-1036 -

Can't wait for Turion X2 laptops.

I'm looking to buy the MS-1039 when it comes out.. but should I wait for a 15.4" Turion X2? Or is that not even on MSI's roadmap.. suggestions? Thanks in advance!!
-
i was noti n the roadmap the 15" dual, because the 1042 would be 17".
But i honestly think the 15" wouldn´t come too much later, maybe in july/august.
Something they didn´t mention the video card as they did in other ones, so maybe they were waiting for ATi to release beetter cards, and MAYBE it will come with ATI X1800. (I would be happpy)
Thaks coffee. I have nothing against orange, but they should have more sober versions for companys and professional usages, like a grey/white/black/silver. These colours are more suited for business. -
MSI will always have the muted gray/black versions of their systems for businesses (esp with the non-dedicated gpu models), so i would expect to see the colors in the systems aimed at student and gamer. -
i really hope they take your advice and change the chassis and colors. the biggest thing keeping me from buying an msi is that they just aren't attractive. they are too boring.....i can't help it that i'm shallow. ;p
catch a glimpse of the new S271
