    Hello all

    well . Have bought an msi dragon edition 2 , and i have notice a strange voice comes from inside the laptop every 30 or 40 mint , sometimes every 10 mint or 20 mint

    this voice like something to do with the hard desk i think or i dont know , i have contact the shop that i bought the laptop from and after so many try they replace another one for me but this is not the end of the story ..... Its the same voice again in this one also

    calling al the msi dragon edition 2 owner to check their laptop and hear very clear if there is such thing in this laptop

    That sound is from the hard drive. Don't worry about it as it is normal to hear that.

    how come this is normal

    i have own before many laptop and this is firsttime i hear this kind of voice

    my friend got dragon edition 2 and he said he not hearing anything

    this voice always comes every 20 mint ... strange can you give me some program that can help me test the hardware , and temp , etc so i can post it here and see if everything is normal or not

    That noise is normal, only when I have the hard drive upside down or it is broken.
    If you're not using your laptop upside down and the hard drive works, I would just say the reader is a tad loud on that model of HDD, but nothing is wrong

    It's completely normal. it's the rotating hard drive park it's heads.

    It will happen especially with a large amount of ram or if your main drive is an SSD. When the HDD is idle for a time it is parked to save power.
