I just wonder how far can I go with my 683r on upgrading gfx without not so much mod.

atm I am still using gtx560m ... should I upgrade it or go get a better laptop?

Without doing any crazy modifications to your laptop, you should be able to get any of the graphics cards that were available during the time that your laptop was offered.
This means you should be able to install the GTX-570M and possibly the GTX-580M. You will need a new heatsink to go along with the card, particularly with the 580M (yes, there were some SLIGHT differences, but we did note them).
Theoretically, you should also be able to install the GTX-670M and 675M, which are the same as the 570/580M with slight overclocking and Optimus switchable graphics.
You may also want to double check your AC adapter output though to be sure that it can handle the graphics card as well.

Just get a new laptop. If you want high end performance get a 7970m or find one with 680m option.

Just keep your 560M (try overclocking it if you're hurting for more performance) or sell your laptop to buy a new one instead of spending $400 on a rather pointless upgrade.

570M is a nice step up (especially when tweaked, can be almost twice as fast) and not excessively expensive either to be honest.
