I just purchased a second 1gb stick to put in my ms-1012, but unfortunately, the computer won't post with any stick in the lower slot. The specs say that the computer supports 2gb, but I wonder if there is some incompatibility?

Has anyone gotten 2gb to work? If not, trying the 1057/1058 motherboard swap is tempting because otherwise I really like this notebook!

The new stick works in the top slot.
