Looks like the MSI GT640, but the price seems way too high with the GTS 250m, the Asus G51j is gonna be around the same, maybe more, with the GTX 260m and 1080p.

msi became suicidal

Yeah, they wont get one person to buy that. If you add you add in 2 more gb's of RAM and wireless its almost $1500. Then add the promised bluray player and forget it, $1615!
-
you mean the GT740 its a 17" laptop.

Assuming that the 640 is similar in price, that may just be too expensive

Thats what i have been saying for some time. The GT725 was a great gaming bargain when it launched (especially in Europe) and that is why it was popular.
But if they price their stuff the same as the likes of Asus, Clevo etc then they will sell a lot less. Especially with only a GT250m. -
Atleast MSI moved to I7, still cant believe the bigger books on NVIDIA

this barebone price doesn't seem bad, esp if you buy a ES i7 cpu off ebay.

good deal at that but for like 300 more you can get the w860cu barebone with a 280m and wuxga. good fing though.

Unless you don't want a 15.6" screen. I'm a 17" + screen fan.

any benchmarks of this system yet? I would think with the higher memory clocks and large amount of shaders it should at least be around the 4670 performance.

Has anyone recieved it yet?
