Does anyone know if it is possible to customize an MSI system any further than the options that are on the Xotic PC website or that's pretty much the limit of the changes that can be made to the system?

I'm going to say more than likely you could get something done that is not listed online. Give them a call. What type of mod are you thinking about? I'm thinking of different SSD listed or something like that, would be no problem.

I want to drop the default HDD (already have an SSD I can use) and Windows OS. That would bring it down into my price range.

You should try calling/email/PM (think there is a user here that represents them).

BTW, what happened to your clevo?

It committed suicide. Then when I called for warranty service I found out the place that sold it to me was wrong and it actually didn't have any warranty. The retailer I bought it from offered to refund me for the barebone, but now I'm stuck trying to sell off the remains.

Too bad, but at least you now have a reason to get something even more powerful.
