I'm currently running Windows 7 Beta, which expires in a couple of days.

I have a full retail copy of Windows 7 I'm trying to install.

I get a Blue Screen error on the first reboot, once files have been copied over in the first part of the install.

    The blue screen error is:

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

I've tried disabling Cat control, uninstalling VGA drivers, and uninstalling any virtual drive apps.

    Still no joy.

I'm trying to upgrade from Win 7 Beta, and so don't want to have to go back to format and download and reinstall all my Steam apps games and graphics software. It's a bit of a nightmare, especially since my MSI shipped with Win Vista.

I've been doing some research into this and can only find references to bad memory etc:. My machine works fine with Vista and Windows.

    thanks.

It didn't help, since I'm upgrading to Ultimate.

Looks like I could be in for a long haul.

I don't think its possible to upgrade from 7 beta most likely a reformat and re installation will be required.
