My notebook came with a 128GB Toshiba 1.8" MSATA and I'd like to upgrade to a 500Gb 2.5" Samsung MSATA. Will I have a problem getting it to fit?

What is the exact model number of your 128GB Toshiba drive? Also the 500GB Samsung 2.5" is not a mSATA the 2.5" drives are SATA drives. So you are trying to get a Samsung 500GB mSATA drive in the place of the Toshiba?

Thanks for the reply.
My current model is Toshiba THNSNF128GMCS 128Gb PCI-Express mini-SATA 1.8-Inch Internal SSD and I'm looking to replace it with Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB mSATA 2-Inch SSD (MZ-M5E500BW) -

Just make sure you aren't looking at getting an m.2, as those aren't compatible. But an mSata Samsung should work.

Will a 2.5" MSATA fit in my GT60 2OD-026US?
