    Is that 3dmark vantage? What is the score b4 you upgrade the CPU? For the default setting my GT-627 216 (P8400 and GeForce 9800GS) got around 4K.

    Well I guess rolling back still wouldn't hurt, at least this way you know for sure its not a driver issue.

    How does the card perform in gaming? I used to have one in a hp hdx16 and it performed pretty well.

    It games just fine, Ive been playing Mass effect 2 on moderately high settings and i get very little if any lag at all. Though i will say that the videos look a little grainy, dont know if thats normal or not.

    Right, it was stupid suggestion of me :) But sometimes when you look for bigger problems you miss the small things. I don't remember in Vantage are there any setting for resolution?

    So, according to nVidia it is 1357 points? Wow, that's low!
    whitefro you have very high score then :)
    I'll install it at my PC when I get home after work and see that. Although mine is clocked to 9700M GT, but still I want to see the result. I'll post it later.

    @whitefro
    Your score on 3DMark Vantage is quite usual, I think. I just checked this
    http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-9600M-GT.9449.0.html

    Well I ran 3DMark Vantage once, when I just purchased my lappy. I got more than 4K w/ the default settings in Windows Vista 32. The maximum temperature of GPU (9800M GS) was around 70*C. Now I don't have any external screen supporting the minimum resolution to run the benchmark.

    @Genna
    This is the formula for you to calculate 3DMark Vantage score
    http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845,2289656,00.asp
    I guess when you turn into Turbo Mode, the CPU consumes more energy, so the GPU doesn't have enough energy. Could you please give me the temperature in 2 modes. You should run GPUZ in background to record the info about the GPU clock. I guess the speed decreased during the test.

    BTW, I like your wallpaper. Who is she?

    Eclipse, you might be right for overheating (bad cooling actually), because two weeks ago I had to remove my VGA, just to check something, I didn't apply new thermal paste (I'm currently with Arctic Silver 5 and I'm also waiting for new HD4850/1G). I'll check the temperatures when I get back home. I just run the tests in hurry, it was late :) You can see detailed temperatures at GPU link in my signature (they are made few days after I bought it).
    About SHE - Here. I'll upload the wallpaper for you later.

    it is if you haven't disabled film grain. If the laptop games fine >.> i don't really see any reason to worry about the 3dmark score

    Go to program files and under bioware and binaries there is another .exe launcher for editing settings.
