    Where to get best drivers for MSI-1058?

    I'm looking for a touchpad driver for the MSI-1058. Is it Synaptics? Anyone know what model?

    And for other parts, can I just use S271 drivers?

    Well I found some here but they appear to be for XP64.

    OK Now I found some here but I'm not sure the S271 drivers will be ok for my 1058, although it's worth a try.

    Oficially there is no driver for the touchpad on the 1058, i have one that worked with the 1013 model. We have not tried or tested it on this model yet. If you want to try it email me and i will send it to you.

    The S271 drivers are the same for the 1058, here is the link:

    Yeah that's the one I posted in my last post. I am using it now, and it appears to work fine.

    Mainly I just wanted to turn off the tapping on the touchpad, and it does that. It has lots of other features that I probably also want to turn off, but right now I'm not having any problems.
