Im brazilian and im goint to travel to Los Angeles/Anaheim, California, on Oct 2-19. I looking for a good store to buy my GX660R-060US. The problem is find a store or website who accepts my Internation Credit Card with billing address here in Brazil.

So far the only option ive found is this link Link but im a little supsicious, because the item is listed on wrong section, dont have image and i cant find it on the sellers web page, is it trustable?

So can anyone help me with some stores that sells for international customers or maybe have pick-up instead of shipping (must be arround LA/Anaheim)

    Thx in advice

amazon is a very good site but I'm not sure if you can get pickup options from them. You would have to call. Also, I know that the MSI North America HQ is in LA but I am not sure if they would sell you the gx660r... Again, call them.

Here's the link: MSI USA ? Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

Also check out their reseller page and see if you can find any in LA and call them....

Amazon dont have the pickup.. but at least they accept my Credit Card and can ship to the hotel ill be hosted (some stores only ship to the billing address of the credit card so its no deal) and even i finding a store that do ship to me its hard to find one that have this MSI model

Found another place gentech computers. They are located in LA an they are great. Really good service. I would shoot them an email too =)... Plus thay can custom build the MSI so you can add a ssd or something too

    Here's the site: http://1toppc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=SFNT

Found another company in LA that had the gx660r in stock called Mwave. Never heard of them but you should contact them too. Gentech is probably a better choice though

both XoticPC and GenTech dont have the pickup option... on email they told me they only accept (in my case) bankwire or money order wich would be my last option... i prefer to use my credit card if possible.. its easier for me.

another issue is that with customized laptops they have a time to build the setup, and since m goin to stay only 17 days on US i dont wanna have little time to test the notebook and find it have issue and them dont have enough time to get a RMA or something like that... so thats why i prefer a default setup

They have a Will Call / Store Pickup section on their contact us page so I would assume they do.

Since you want to pay internationally, I advice Portable one:
    MSI GX660R 15.6

They have the MSI-GX660R and they ship internationally and accept international payments. I bought from them and got my laptop shipped to me from US to a country about 6000 miles far and got it perfectly.

Otherwise, you have to send money cash to xoticpc or gentech pc

    Good Luck

I have a similar question as Masterashs. I am also looking to buy this laptop and will be travelling to New York during Christmas. Are there any vendors in NYC that offer in-store pickup for the laptop?

I searched online and JR seems to have it but the specs are all wrong and their customer service is useless. Are there any other stores? I had my eyes set on this for a long time, so thanks ahead of time for helping me out! :)

Some help for you nice people looking for a place in the US.

Simply because I'm just one state over and I have used these people before:

Tech Spot N.Y.C. Onsite Service Rates Long Island Nassau Suffolk Onsite computer tech support

BTOTech did great by me a few years ago. I think you'll have to give them a call to see if you can make an online order and do on-site pickup at one of their repair locations. I have no idea if they do that, as I used the website for shipping. And of course, have fun navigating New York during the Holidays.

No. Seriously. Enjoy it. If you can get through NYC during the Holidays it's something you can brag about whenever you get back to your home/father/motherland. :D

lol, thanks for your help! I have heard about the traffic situation before and hopefully I can go back with some brag rights.

I will contact BTO and see if they are willing to do this. All I ever want was to save a little on the shipping and I honestly have 0 faith in UPS/USPS/FEDEX or any of those shipping companies so if I broken it when I carry it home then it is my fault.

Fingers crossed, hopefully the deal will work out. I have been quite excited about this laptop.
