    There's a Microsoft ban on hybrid systems running XP Home, effective at the end of June 2009. U115 will either disappear or come loaded with a different OS.

    Alternatives to the hybrid MSI U115 being the BenQ U101 (has a 1.8" ZIF socket for SSD in addition to it's 2.5" SATA HDD), or Lenovo S10e. S10e has 4GB of SSD soldered on the systemboard.

    nando4, the other thread about upgrading the SSD has been deleted, but I was wrong and you were correct. The SSD form factor is 1.8", not 1".
