    Where is MSI GE70 2013 Owners Lounge?

    Is the GE70 20E not release yet?

    Has anyone got their hands on one care to give it a review?

    I would love to know how the battery life of it is compare to the GE60.

    If anyone with a GE70 shows up, I would ask for them to pull out the battery and see how many mAh/Wh it has. We know it's six cell but MSI cheaped out on the six cell in the GE60 and made an excellent one for the GE40.

    Just received my GE70 2OE-002US yesterday but I won't have time to play with it until the weekend. I'm quite impressed with the quality of it so far though. I'll try and see what the specs are on the battery when I get home. Here's a pic.

    Battery specs say it's a 4400 mAh which seems puny for the GE70. I will be amazed if you get more than 2 hours web browsing.

    They fitted the even bigger GE70 with the same small 4400 mAh battery?
    That is insane!
    Why would they do that when the much smaller GE40 has a 5900 mAh battery?

    If the GE60's owner thread is correct. The GE70 will have a battery life of 1 half 30 min web surfing and less than 30 min gaming.

    That is completely unacceptable.

    Any owners please do some testing and review. Thank you!

    If you intend to play games on battery you are not a serious gamer or user to begin with.

    I've found battery life to be well past acceptable when doing general computing (office-apps/email/web), I'd estimate it at around 2 hours before you need to seek an outlet. That is VERY good for a 17-inch machine running an i7. if you expect to play games at full frame rates or for long periods you're expecting the impossible.
