I think they're discontinued but if anyone knows of a site or a place with any left and could link me that would be great. I really want one and they discontinued it at the worst time. Help would be much appreciated.

You're talking about the GT628, right? I think it might be more expensive...also what if it gets delayed again? I don't really want to take that risk since I need to grab a laptop before college starts (end of August).

The barebones equivalent of the GT628, the 1651-ID2 w/ a Geforce 160M is out already at sites like rkcomputer.net and xoticpc.net. I already pre-ordered mine from rkcomputer (they're out of pre-ordered stock on the higher res screen but still have the lower res one) for the same reason as you, I needed to get my laptop before college in mid-August and I didn't trust MSI to put the constantly delayed GT628 out in time for me... plus I really like the silver trim a lot more than the red :)

Oh and mine priced out to be about $1300... no blu-ray, no 9-cell battery, but with the previously mentioned silver trim (a big plus for me being in business school), a p8700 instead of p8600 (negligible but still...) and a few other small things, mainly being it not coming out in August!
