Stereo configuration with equaliser tweak pushing the upper frequencies with some lower frequency enhancement. (Not much, but alittle is very noticable.)

Also play music for 200-300 hours lol.

So doesn't work for you either?
I can select the default speakers, one seems to be the 4 speakers and the other option seems to be the sub woofer, but I don't know what the trick is to get them both active.

What, you guys using this as a 4.1 channel? ( Quadrophonic )

    I thought this was a 2.1 channel...

Says something like no sound config found with the MS-1727 SRS driver found in utilities. Good Idea I'll try the GX740 drivers next.

    Need that 4.1 working!

I'm using Win 7, check your sound option in control panel and choose the speaker setup options.(if you use 7)

Hmm, my quadrophonic settings won't get me any sound on the back speakers,
are you sure you guys are using this laptop's speaker as 4.1 speakers, not 2.1?

The front speakers don't act as separate, but are just linked to the main speakers for me...

    working

When the OS does setup by default, Sound in control panel will show more sound options(4 speakers or 1 sub woofer) that will cause really low and tinnie sound.

Wow,, okay does the quadrophonic setting testing show 4 distinct sounds for the testing steps?

so is it really 4.1 channel, or is it 2.1 channel with 4 speakers+1 subwoofer?

yeah quad sounds good as well, id say 4.1 cause the point one just adds a deeper mono sound.

you can change it around, big difference in out-put quality, it might be simulated but I'm not going to sit on my keyboard to find out. ;/
