    What to do with MSI 1080 MXM GPU?

    So long story short, I spilled some water on the keyboard and touchpad. The GPU and motherboard is fine since none of the water reached those components as it wasnt much water in the first place. Problem is, the laptop isnt turning on without the touchpad and keyboard plugged in. Swapped the GPU into my friends laptop and its working fine, so at the very least thats definitely still working...

    Question is what I should do with the GPU? Been considering looking for something like a MXM 3.0 to PCI-E adapter so I can put a gheto cooler together and use it in my old desktop. OR looking for something like a barebones that will support the GPU

    It's possible to get it done but very difficult and may not worth the efforts. You are probably better off by selling the GPU on eBay and cash out then buy yourself a graphics card for your desktop.
