When I check the specs at a few resellers, the base price is:

    MSI GE62 Apache Pro 004 - $1099

    and

    MSI GE62 Apache Pro 014 - $1299

The only difference I see is the 014 has a 128GB M.2 SSD SATA III 6Gb/s.

When it add it to the 004 it only adds $49, making the 004 $1148 for what then appears to be the exact same thing as the 014.

I know I'm gonna feel stupid when you show me what else is different, but go ahead - make my day!

    :)

The difference is SSD/HDD configuration, everything else is identical.
    004 - 1TB 7200RPM HDD (w/o 128GB SSD).
    014 - 128GB M.2 SATA SSD + 1TB SATA 7200RPM HDD.

Thanks Kevin, that's what I was seeing, too.

Seems like the good deal is to get the 004 and have you add the 128GB SSD for $50, saving $150.

Yup, factory upgrade tend to be much cheaper than doing it on your own.
