After another attempt to decrease tempeatures, I am opting for laptop cooler.
narrowed down my choice to zalman, but not sure which one is the best?
    Suggestions?

Is there any other coller what would reduce the temperatures below the point when fan starts turning on and off every 5 seconds?

    Thanks for reply guys,
I was a little bit scatterminded when I posted.
After checking zalman, i noticed that rubber pads on my laptop were missing so notebook was sliding down. As a result i went with cooler mastrer U2.
( it is the model where u can adjust your fans under the laptop)
having overclocked my Gpu and memory to 825/1030. ( with minor artifacts and maximum temperature 72 on Gpu and 77-80 on memory ( even in furmark) I feel pretty happy.

    next steps
    a) Drill more holes
    b) install copper heatsinks
    c) mod bios to increase votage and overclock to 900. hopefully.

I use NotePal U3 for my 740. Much better than my NC2000. 10C drop in temp.

So much cheaper too. $20 compared to $50.
