I saw this in the Dragon Center for both USB and Storage:

What does it do and how does it actually work? I also saw a user complain on the MSI forums that he disabled it because it eats CPU cycles?
so what do you have it on on or off?

If you turn it on, the CPU and disk will most of the time be clogged at 100% usage, even on idle. The previous versions of the Dragon Center had it enabled by default, but because people were complaining about the 100% usage, the next update disabled them.
I'm not sure about what it exactly does. Maybe it's some way to stress the CPU and the SSD so they can work at full load / turbo ensuring the best performance.

My (amateur) understating was that it was supposed to have those thing fully ready even when running in a slower mode, it caused prob;ems with CPU usage so people turned it off. I have never used them nor had any speed issues with USB or Storage speed.

It's explained in this video (starting at 3:50).
Long story short: you should probably disable it if you care about keeping CPU usage down.Djadit, Kevin@GenTechPC, hmscott and 1 other person like this. -
