I sent my MSI Gt60 into MSI to get it fixed about a month ago. It all of a sudden blue screened, went into a repeated boot cycle that wouldn't stop no matter what I did. If I tried to do ANYTHING, it would blue screen. It was only about a month and a half old at the time this happened, and I'm positive that there's no virus or anything wrong with software. I also know its not overheating because I have a cooling pad underneath it at all times.
I got it back and it worked perfectly until just yesterday it randomly blue screened and the same thing happened. Again. I don't want to play this game with MSI where I send it back in every month. Does anyone know what's going it?

You have to play the game with MSI, you don't really have any other options. If you send them an eloquent but assertive letter complaining you may be able to insist on a complete replacement or at least a motherboard and graphics card replacement.

I will try sending them a letter along with the package. This is very frustrating, but do you know the chances of them replacing it?

Did they give you a report listing the problem and if they replaced any parts the first time? Many states have a Lemon Law which says if it has to be repaired 3 times for the same problem, then it must be replaced.

Did MSI indicate their diagnosis when you sent them the notebook? Did they replace anything, or did they just reload the system OS? My hunch would be the later under these circumstances.
BSOD's normally produce an 'failure code' directly related to the offending issue. The next BSOD you experience, write this down and Google it. Least then, you may have an idea what is causing the problem. Also, if you are able to get into Windows, see what is logged in your 'Event Viewer' at the time/date of the next BSOD.
Off-hand, I suspect system memory, so I would immediately run a complete round MEMTEST86. You should pass this 100%, with no errors whatsoever. If you have a single error, report to MSI that the notebook fails MEMTEST86.

Also, when corresponding with MSI, be pleasant and tactful. Though these things are very frustrating, demonstrating anger or threatening tones will not help your cause. In spite of how you feel, it is always better to be nice to those you are trying to get to help you. Put yourself in the Tech Support folks shoes for a moment. Many times they deal with irrate customers, and 'they' are not the cause of the problems..... they are there to attempt resolution of customer issues.
Good luck, and please keep us posted on your progress.
