    Hello. I just got this laptop and it's been treating me extremely well so far. I've been lurking on this forums a little and they have helped me to make a fairly educated choice, I believe. However, this is my first laptop and while I know hardware pretty well in general, I know next to nothing about laptop batteries. My issue is that this machine doesn't have quite enough autonomy for my taste and I would like to buy a 9 cell battery and keep the 6 cell battery that comes with the laptop as a backup.

    I would really appreciate to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks!

    Well I'll go ahead and bump this old thread, I ended up never buying the battery, mostly due to the $57 shipping fee which is too much for me for shipping. Either I'm bad at google or this battery is just really hard to find in Canada. Prove me wrong please!
