You could try powernotebooks.com as well. Power Notebooks and Xotic were the 2 cheapest vendors I could find for a 16F2.

How cheap is it at Xotic? You can try GenTechPC ( www.gentechpc.com). For $1612 you can get i7-2670,GTX580,750gb hdd,8gb ram+ the usual 1761 stuff. Price will go up or down based on your own configs.

??? I dont see 200$ cheaper. Now if I drop the specs down to:

    i7-2630QM
    8GB RAM
    500GB HDD
    GTX580M

It still comes out to 1533$. GenTechPC dont have the option to bump processor down to 2630QM so price is 1598$ (i7-2670QM but with same config). XoticPC is cheaper but that comparison is apples to oranges.

Now if you go ahead and figure the 15" model 16F2, yes it should be 200$ cheaper but now its 15" vs 17". And again XoticPC is cheaper but only because they allow the bump down to the 2630QM. Your call if 60$ extra is worth it for the 2670QM.

Bottom line... both XoticPC and GenTechPC are good choices as vendors. It's whoever you're comfortable with.
