    Hello again,

I am likely missing the answer under my nose but are the panels in these WE series laptops actually 10 bit per color? Is there a known part number to cross check if 8bit or 10bit? This question for both the FHD and UHD display.
Thank you for your time and any info you are willing to share.

    Cheers,

Where did you see 10-bit panel being used on the WE series? It's very likely to be PVA panel which is still based of TN panel technology, and it's 8-bit.

I didn't see anything mention 8bit or 10bit is why I am asking. They are advertising 100% aRGB which the only way to do that color controlled is 10bit per color per my research.

Photoshop can do 10bpc OpenGL which only the workstation cards provide. So these MSI workstations if they had 10bpc panels would be great for people after color control into aRGB space without having to use a 10bpc external monitor.

    - 17.3" FHD (1920 x 1080) NTSC 94%, 17.3" UHD (3840x2160) AdobeRGB 100%
AdobeRGB 100% can be achieved with 8-bit.

Thank you very much for the link to panel part# and specs. This is the first I have read of a 8bit panel covering 100% AdobeRGB. Seen plenty covering sRGB but only 10bit panels claiming 90-100% aRGB till now.
