    It doesn't have the heatsink because it's designed for servers.

    Well, it's flipped over to a new day so the count has to be reset.

    What I don't get is why now? The drive has been on the market for quite some time.

    I remember looking at newegg at the new WD's and seeing 10K as an option, took about 30 seconds to see it was a server drive needing a 3.5" slot, had a chuckle and said to myself, one day, someone will ask. I can see how people can be mistaken and if you have not had much exposure, it can be an easy mix up.
